They lose most all those wrinkles and suffer a plethora of health issues, not the least of which are piles of skin diseases which naturally cost a bundle at the Veterinarian. Need very deep, deep pockets to own a Sharpei. Nor are they benign dogs. They aren't your friendly little Poodle. They are high maintenance dogs and let me tell you, when they move, they move! Like all the 'bulldog' typee, they are headstrong, determined, and not for the Novice dog owner. ::: Let sleeping dogs lie. :::
